Thrive Barron County is excited to present the Barron County Community Health Assessment and Community Health Improvement Plan Reports.  Thrive Barron County is a collaboration between community members, public health, medical, dental and health providers, and community organizations working together to improve the health of residents and our community.

In 2012 the community identified its top three health concerns as:

  • Alcohol, tobacco and other drug use and abuse
  • Mental Health
  • Chronic Disease Prevention and Management

2012 CHA- Final

2013-2018 CHIP Final

Community health action teams have been developed for each health concern.  The teams are meeting monthly and anyone interested is encouraged to participate with us.
